Text Box: Hi everyone, I would like to take this time to thank Don Ticknor for chairing the Tower Ridge Open. Don did a great job putting on this event. I am not sure yet how much, but the CVDGO did make some money to help with Tower or the new 18 hole course that we hope to put in this year at tower recreation. I would also like to thank everyone that came out to help, with out all the help, the Tower Open would not happen. A little about the new course. We are waiting to hear if we got matching funds from the state, if we get them we will have the money to put in the new course. We have been laying out the new course and we would like to get everyone out there to throw a few disc’s were we can and let us know how it is. The course has a lot of brush on it yet but we could throw some of the holes. The next CVDGO meeting will be out at the new course. We would like to cook some brats and let everyone throw a few discs and see what changes need to be made. Wednesday July 7th starting at 6:00 PM, we’ll meet just down the road from Tower Ridge, take the first left past tower, drive to the end of the parking lot by the small building. I would like to find someone to cook the brats, I have a grill to use. Please call or e-mail me if you can do this. We need to know if you are coming so we can buy the food and pop. Bring your own beer! Please call me or e-mail me so I know you are coming. Put “Tower” in the subject line to make it easer for me to pick it out in the e-mails.
